On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, the Mercer County Historical Society will be hosting the History in the Making (Modern History) Discussion Group. This month’s program will focus on D-Day-Part II and will include a section on African Americans’ roles on D-Day. Come in, enjoy the program, and give us your opinions. The doors open at 6:30 PM; the program starts at 7:00, and should end around 9:00. Please join us.
The History in the Making Discussion Group is part of the Historical Society’s ongoing efforts to provide programming related to local history. The discussion group meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September through May. Participation in the discussion group is open to the public and is free.
