Ken Burns’ The Civil War
On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, the Mercer County Historical Society (119 South Pitt Street, Mercer, PA) will present a program on Ken Burns’ multi-part documentary the Civil War celebrating its 25th anniversary. This will include part of the documentary and a discussion of the viewed part of the program.
Bill Philson will conduct and moderate the program. The doors open about 6:30 P.M. The program starts at 7:00 P.M. and should end sometime around 9:00. Come, enjoy yourself, and learn something new!
The Civil War Discussion Group is part of the Mercer County Historical Society’s ongoing efforts to provide programming related to local history. The roundtable meets on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May. Participation in the discussion group is open to the public and is free.
