AFRICAN-AMERICANS TROOPS DURING D-DAY.
On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, the Mercer County Historical Society (119 South Pitt Street, Mercer, PA) will present a program on African-American Troops during the D-Day invasion. The doors open at 6:30 PM; the program starts at 7:00, and should end around 9:00. Please join us.
The Modern History/History in the Making Discussion Group is part of the Mercer County Historical Society’s ongoing efforts to provide programming related to local history. The roundtable meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September through May. Participation in the discussion group is open to the public and is free. The Historical Society’s headquarters is at 119 South Pitt Street, Mercer.
