DOOLITTLE’S RAID

On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, The Mercer County Historical Society will host our new “History in the Making” discussion group. Part of this meeting will focus on a video production from archives of different countries. This meeting will feature Doolittle’s Tokyo Raid on April 18, 1942. We will then attempt to tie events and personalities to Mercer County, PA, history. We will also be discussing the programs for the remainder of this season. Come in, enjoy the program, and give us your opinions. The doors open at 6:30 PM; the program starts at 7:00, and should end around 9:00. Please join us.

The History in the Making Discussion Group is part of the Historical Society’s ongoing efforts to provide programming related to local history. The roundtable meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September through May. Participation in the discussion group is open to the public and is free.
