Civil War Roundtable

Mercer County Historical Society will continue its Civil War Roundtable.
The Battle of First Bull Run
On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, the Mercer County Historical Society (119 South Pitt Street, Mercer, PA) will resume its Civil War Roundtable and will present a program on the Battle of First Bull Run as it was known by Union Forces or the Battle of First Manassas by the Confederate Forces. This was the first real battle of the Civil War and was a Confederate victory. This program will be presented by James Carnes. The doors open at 6:30 PM; the program starts at 7:00, and should end around 9:00. Please join us. This event is FREE and open to the public.
The Civil War Discussion Group is part of the Mercer County Historical Society’s ongoing efforts to provide programming related to local history. This roundtable meets on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May. Participation in the discussion group is open to the public and is free. The Historical Society’s Headquarters is at 119 South Pitt Street, Mercer.
