Mercer County Historical Society Announces its Annual Dinner
The Mercer County Historical Society announces its Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday, May 4th starting at 5:00 P.M. in the Dr. James K. Sewall Genealogical Library in our headquarters located at 119 South Pitt Street, Mercer, PA. At 6:00 we will proceed to the Social Hall of the Helen Black Miller Memorial Chapel for dinner. The dinner will include a tossed salad, a chicken breast with stuffing, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, and rolls with butter. We will then continue with a short Business Meeting from 7:00 until 7:15 to elect our Officers and Board of Directors. After this meeting, we will have a presentation by Ms. Amber Farris, McKinley Memorial Museum Director, on “William McKinley Jr.: A Life outside of the Presidency.” Following her presentation there will be a cookie and punch reception, ending the evening.
All are invited to the reception and presentation—these are free and open to the public. The meal will be $12.00 per ticket per person.
